A BUS and Ford Focus car collided near to the Asda superstore on Handsworth Road, Sheffield, leaving one man with a neck injury.

Police were called to the collision at 9.30am on Thursday.

Officers closed the city bound stretch of Handsworth Road while they dealt with the incident.

Car thieves strike

CAR thieves struck twice in Sheffield after owners left keys with their vehicles.

The first incident happened on Fleury Rise, Gleadless Valley, after the owner left the keys in the door, on Wednesday evening. The same night, a car was taken from Westwick Crescent, Greenhill, when keys were left in the ignition.

House burglaries

Burglars raided a house on Spring Close Court, Gleadless Valley, after glass in a door was smashed during daylight hours on Wednesday. Overnight on Monday into Tuesday, a house on Roach Road, Hunters Bar, was broken into via the cellar.
