BUDDING young news reporters put their interviewing skills to the test when they gave Sheffield United’s captain Chris Morgan a grilling!
Year 5 and 6 pupils at St Theresa’s Catholic Primary School welcomed Chris to a question-and-answer session to talk about the skills and dedication needed to become a professional footballer.
St Theresa’s is one of many Sheffield schools taking part in the United Initiative community activities, which use sport to inspire people.
Head Pat Nelis said: “I didn’t realise how big a role model Chris was to our children until we had full attendance at all the classes he visited!”
Chris said: “The children had prepared interesting and intelligent questions. I hope my visit helped inspire them to pursue a career in sport.”
