New survey names Sheffield as one of UK's outdoor sex capitals

The new report, carried out by thortful.com said that the city is among one of the most promiscuous areas of the UK, with people more likely to indulge in al fresco naughtiness and public displays of affection (PDAs) than many other parts of the country.

Belfast was crowned PDA capital of the UK while it said that Londoners were the most likely to have sex outside.

Sheffield was ranked in fourth spot in the rundown, with only Belfast, Newcastle and Birmingham placed above it in the survey which ranks people living there on their prudishness or on how risque they are.

It said more people in Belfast were prepared to have outdoor sex than anywhere else – but kissing was the city’s preferred PDA.

People in Southampton reveal their sentimental side with hugs being their preferred PDA, whilst those in Leeds favour holding hands.

And with the Eat Out To Help Out scheme starting in August, it’s good news for Sheffield locals who prefer feeding their partner, according to the results.

The findings also show that men are more up for PDAs than women, with more men admitting to having sex and snogging in public, compared to women.
