Help is at hand for Sheffield mums keen to return to work after taking a break to have children.

A brand new initiative, which will launch this month, aims to help city mums regain the confidence they need to go back to work, or set up their own businesses.

‘Women to Work’ is the brainchild of Sheffield mums Emma Shute and Jenny Pollock, who were inspired by their own experiences and those of their friends after having children.

Emma told The Star: “We knew so many mums who found it difficult to go back to work, and particularly to find a fulfilling work life balance, after having children. There is an awful lot of wasted talent out there and we wanted to help re-equip these women and boost their confidence.”

The free drop-in sessions will take place from 9-11am on 11 and 25 March at Café Ceres on Junction Road then 12 and 26 March at Thyme Café on Glossop Road.
