New restaurant for former Sheffield bridal shop unit
A new restaurant looks to be on its way to Glossop Road in Sheffield city centre.
An application has been submitted to the council seeking permission to change the use of the shop unit previously used by bridal shop Blissful Daze, which closed two years ago, from retail to a food outlet.
Blissful Daze called in administrators after almost eight years in 2014. Changing consumer habits, in particular a shift to online shopping, were given as a reason for the closure at the time.
