New-look course ready for Leger punters

DONCASTER'S St Leger Festival kicked off today - with an apology from organisers for ticket hotline problems.

Bosses say phone lines at Town Moor have been overloaded by the demand for information about the festival and this weekend's Leger race.

But despite the problems, celebrity racing pundit John McCririck had praise for the course.
