New chapter for town library

Have your say

Poet Roger McGough and Derbyshire writer Berlie Doherty are among names helping mark the official re-opening of Chesterfield Library.

A number of events, starting on Wednesday and running until the end of March, have been arranged.

Improvements include a more welcoming and spacious entrance, new book display stands and seating.

Four self-service terminals and a new counter have also been created at the New Beetwell Street library, which closed for three weeks.
