The firm began as a one-man operation in 1971 when plumber and electrician Ted Willers launched the business from a ground floor flat in Mosborough. It now has a £3 million turnover, employs 36 and works country-wide.

Based on Station Road in Halfway, founder Ted has now stepped back to take on the role of company chairman and his finance manager daughter Nikki Thorneloe, aged 31, has risen to financial director. Director Pete Watson has become managing director. He said: “I’m honoured Ted felt he could pass to me the running of the company.”
