NEW APPOINTMENTS: IT specialist joins Sheffield recruitment firm

Affecto Recruitment, based in Kelham Island, Sheffield, recently launched a dedicated senior project and programme delivery division and has appointed experienced consultant Peter Broughton to its software and web development team.

His appointment comes after a report last year indicated that the total number of jobs the Yorkshire technology sector supports is predicted to rise by 15 per cent over the next five years, creating 10,000 new jobs across the region.

Daniel Koseoglu, managing director, said the appointment followed a busy year in which clients were ‘focused more than ever’ on working with consultants that demonstrated a ‘deep rooted understanding of the industry and their needs’.
