Wenger leaves Arsenal after winning three Premier Leagues and seven FA Cups but there's now an important question to answer.

Who's going to replace the 68-year-old at the Emirates Stadium?

Luis Enrique, Brendan Rodgers and Carlo Ancelotti have all been mentioned but there's another familiar name who has cropped up.

Fans jokingly suggested that Cardiff City manager and former Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock could be offered the job.

A meme of Warnock with the caption '...and I said to Sharon, I said Sharon, I've got one more challenge in me', has already been retweeted over 2,000 times.

Warnock has taken charge of 15 different clubs during a 38-year managerial career, including stints at Sheffield United, Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers.

The 69-year-old came out of retirement for a seventh time in 2016 to take charge of Cardiff City after running it past his wife Sharon.

Sharon encouraged Warnock to take on the challenge despite being treated for breast cancer and he joked that she 'didn't want me under her feet'.

However, the chances of Warnock taking the reigns at Arsenal seem slim as he admitted that he's 'never enjoyed the Premier League'.

But, with Cardiff battling it out for promotion, he may find himself back there at the start of next season.
