NATIONAL NEWS: Two people dead after stabbing attack in Wolverhampton

Two people are dead and another is fighting for their life after several people were stabbed in what police are calling a 'major incident' in Wolverhampton.

The stabbings took place at a block of flats earlier this morning and police used stun grenades as they stormed the flat where they found a woman dead and two people badly injured.

It is believed a man stabbed a woman to death and critically injured another before turning the knife on himself. He was pronounced dead a short time after.
