All of the pub's social media channels have also been removed, however their website is still up and running.

Edward's has not responded to the Star's request for comment.

The site has gone through a number of changes in recent years having previously operated as the Stone & Taps.

Stone & Taps opened in February last year following the closure of the Swim Inn pub, part of the Wetherspoons chain, but closed in June.

Billed as a 'creative innovation' and a 'space to get together', Edward's operated as a live music bar also serving New York style meals.

The bar was opened by the people behind the popular Ship Inn on Kelham Island.
