There are few people in the country who have not been touched, upset, angry, and in many cases desolate with the loss of loved ones in the Hillsborough disaster.
It is my belief that the stadium is blighted from that day. No more representative games, etc. and always memories of that day (and rightly so.) It is right and proper that all things are investigated, but when a large crowd have a problem, it is most difficult for anyone to control .
In that era it was common practice around the country to fence us in like animals with no escape, and the resultant disaster could have been replicated at many grounds. If we had not had cages for human beings, the end result would have been entirely different. Look wider in the search for the reason which eventually created this horrendous outcome. And we Owls should move to a new place.
