ROSALIE Deighton Band are at the Rock@Maltby, Wesley Centre, Blyth Road, Maltby next Friday. The show is rescheduled from June. Tonight's guests are Nancy Kerr and James Fagan.

A SPECIAL Folk Train sets off tomorrow (Oct 6) to New Mills in support of the High Peak Transport Partnership. The train leaves at 11:14 and returns at 14:04. Music is provided on the Grindleford-New Mills leg by Downtrodden String Band. More music in New Mills Town Hall.

A TRIPLE header of Canadian talent comes to the Grapes, Sheffield, next Wednesday (Oct 10). In association with Six Shooter records, who present Justin Rutledge, NQ Arbuckle & Luke Doucet: Rutledge is the new golden boy of Canadian music, while NQ Arbuckle is a gifted songwriter and performer. The show is completed with rocker Doucet. Tickets are 8, and doors open 7pm.
