A SOUTH Yorkshire charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and wellbeing of dementia patients is in the running for a National Lottery Award.

Rotherham-based Lost Chord tries to reignite the memories of dementia sufferers through music and was awarded £350,000 of National Lottery funding.

Now it is in the running to be honoured at the National Lottery’s star-studded awards ceremony which takes place this autumn.
