Murder suspects held over Sheffield stabbing released on bail

A man and woman quizzed over the murder of a Sheffield man have been released on bail.

The man aged 31 and woman, 24, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of the murder of 21-year-old Jordan Hill in a flat in Southey Avenue, Longley, last week.

Jordan, who was a father, was found seriously injured on Thursday, March 23 and was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.

A post mortem examination revealed he suffered stab wounds.

A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder earlier in the week was released on bail yesterday.
