Murder probe launched following discovery of woman's body near Doncaster

A man is due in court today accused of murder following the discovery of a woman's body near Doncaster.

Stuart Hall, aged 47, of Bracken Way, Harworth, Nottinghamshire, was charged this morning following the discovery of the body on Monday night.

Emergency services were called to Bracken Way at 7.45pm and the woman, who has not yet been formally identified, was pronounced dead a short time later.

The suspect is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates' Court today.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokeswoman said: "A man is due to appear in court today charged with murder.

"Officers were called to an address in Bracken Way, Harworth, just before 7.45pm on Monday where they found a woman's body. She was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

"Forty-seven-year-old Stuart Hall, of Bracken Way, was charged this morning and will appear at Mansfield Magistrates' Court.

"The formal identification of the woman is due to take place today."
