A comedy poking gentle fun at the murder mysteries of Agatha Christie is on stage in Sheffield next week.

Secondary Cause of Death is the sequel to Peter Gordon’s comedy, Murdered to Death, which Ecclesall Theatre Company did to great acclaim last year. The story once again features the hilariously bumbling inspector Pratt.

The story is set just before the war, and Colonel Charles Craddock has converted his property into a hotel.

Inspector Pratt arrives and it’s not long before the bodies pile up during a particularly realistic murder mystery evening.

Secondary Cause of Death is at Ecclesall Parish Hall from February 12 to 16.

Tickets for the show are £7 and £5 concessions. To book, go to www.ecclesalltheatre.co.uk or call 0114 266 7525 or 07763 153 842.
