Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 39-year-old woman in a Sheffield suburb.

Vickers Road in Firth Park has been cordoned off and officers are at the scene conducting inquiries.

Three men, aged 83, 42 and 20-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.

Neighbour Asim Iqbal, 21, who lives opposite the woman’s house, said the family were quiet and kept themselves to themselves.

“I woke up at noon and police were everywhere,” he said.

“Twenty minutes later the police led out the elderly gentleman in handcuffs, and two other men, who were both in handcuffs too.”
