Yesterday, police confirmed that investigations into the tragedy were continuing as shocked locals continued to pay their respects, leaving bunches of flowers in the residential street.
One woman who witnessed the aftermath of the attack said she had seen the dog pulling three police officers into the street as they tried to get it into a van.
It is understood that the dog has now been destroyed following Elon's death.
