A SHEFFIELD MP welcomed people into Parliament to celebrate a project introducing ethnic minorities to national parks like the Peak District.

Attercliffe MP Clive Betts was recognising the work of the Campaign for National Parks’ Mosaic project, which has helped 28,000 people from black and minority ethnic communities get involved in activities in parks like the Peak District since 2009.

Mr Betts, chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on National Parks, said: “The national parks are a wonderful resource which should be open to and enjoyed by the whole nation.”
