A motorist is in a serious but stable condition in hospital following a crash in Sheffield.
The 20-year-old, who was behind the wheel of a BMW, was involved in a smash with an Audi, driven by a 24-year-old man, who suffered minor injuries.
An 18-year-old man, who was a passenger in the BMW, was taken to hospital but escaped with minor injuries.
Both cars were travelling along Hopefield Avenue, Frecheville, in the same direction, at the time of the collision.
A third car, a green Fiat, which was parked along Hopefield Avenue, was damaged in the crash.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at 7.10pm on Monday.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “ Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Sheffield on Monday night.
“Two cars were involved in a collision in Hopefield Avenue in the Frecheville area.
“A silver BMW and a blue Audi, both travelling along Hopefield Avenue towards Birley Moor Road, were involved in the collision.”
