Motorist fighting for life after collision in Sheffield

A motorist was left fighting for life after a collision in Sheffield.

The 42-year-old was driving a Vauxhall Astra which was involved in a collision with a parked Audi Quattro on High Street, Ecclesfield, at 4.15pm on Monday.

Police said the Astra was travelling towards Ecclesfield at the time of the collision.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Officers are trying to establish the circumstances of the incident.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident number 651 of January 26.
