Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after ‘serious crash’ with car in Sheffield

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car in Sheffield this morning.

Emergency services were deployed to the crash scene on Shirecliffe Road, close to Longley Avenue West, Shirecliffe, at around 9am.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called by the ambulance service at 9.03am reporting a collision between a car and motorbike on Shirecliffe Road.

“The rider of the motorbike, a 26-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
