Motorcyclist remains in hospital after crash in Sheffield

A motorcyclist is in hospital in a serious but stable condition after a collision in Sheffield.

The 35-year-old was critically injured after a collision with a car on Stopes Road, Stannington, just before 5.15pm on Tuesday afternoon.

A large number of police officers, paramedics and firefighters were deployed to the crash scene.

An air ambulance also landed.

Witnesses should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident 580 of September 16.
