Motorcyclist hurt after crashing into stone wall in Rotherham

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after crashing into a wall on a South Yorkshire road.

The 57-year-old was travelling along Blyth Road, Maltby, Rotherham, with a group of bikers when he left the road and crashed.

He was riding his blue Triumph past Roche Abbey at the time of the incident.

Witnesses to the incident at 1.50pm on Saturday, September 27 or anyone who saw the group of motorcyclists beforehand should call South Yorshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 618 of September 27 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
