Motorcyclist critically injured following Sheffield collision

A motorcyclist is in a critical condition following a collision in Sheffield.

At 6.27pm on Wednesday 22 April, it is reported that a motorbike was travelling along Woodburn Road towards the Parkway when it allegedly overtook a car just before the junction with Parkway Avenue.

The motorcyclist lost control and came to a stop just beyond Parkway Avenue.

The rider of the bike, a 46-year-old man from Sheffield, was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from a man who stopped at the scene and spoke to two other witnesses.

They would also like to speak to anyone who saw the bike prior to the collision, or who may have dash cam footage.
