Motorcyclist and van involved in crash in Sheffield

A motorcyclist and a van were involved in a crash on a busy dual carriageway in Sheffield.

The collision on the roundabout on St Mary's Gate, close to Bramall Lane, took place as thousands of football fans were making their way to Sheffield United's stadium for the game against Aston Villa last night.

Sheffield firm's vans broken into three times in 24 hoursA force spokeswoman said: "At around 6.30pm yesterday evening it was reported a van and motorbike had collided on St Mary’s Gate, Sheffield.

"The motorcyclist is not believed to have suffered serious injuries in the collision."
