Motorbike rider seriously injured in crash on Sheffield estate

A 27-year-old man has been seriously injuref in a road traffic collision in Sheffield this afternoon.

The man, who was riding an orange/white KTM motorbike, was involved in a smash on Danewood Avenue, Manor, at about 5.30pm.

The rider is the only person injured in the incident, and his condition is said to be ‘serious but stable’.

South Yorkshire Police tweeted: “On scene at serious injury RTC. #Danewood Ave #Sheffield. Orange motorcycle involved. Witness? Call 101 inc 550

“27yr old male. Single vehicle Orange/white KTM bike. Only rider hurt. Serious but stable. Updates to follow.”

Witnesses are asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident 550 of April 19.
