A MUM left fighting for life in a crash which killed her daughter has been transferred to a hospital closer to home to recover from her ordeal.
Tracy Bladen, aged 45, of Great Houghton, Barnsley, was driving along Moor Lane, Brierley, when her car veered on to the wrong side of the road and collided head-on with a lorry.
She was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary after suffering life-threatening injuries in the collision but has now been moved to Barnsley hospital.
Her 18-year-old daughter, Melissa, who was a passenger in the Renault Clio, died in the smash on February 16.
She was trapped in the car and had to be freed by firefighters but suffered multiple fatal injuries.
A police investigation is underway.
