
The 38-year-old Sheffield man was riding a black and white TGB R125 moped when it was in collision with a dark blue Peugeot 3008 in Effingham Road, at the junction with Leveson Street, in Attercliffe.Â
The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains today.Â
South Yorkshire Police officers are now appealing for information about the incident, which happened on Saturday, August 25, at 6.20pm.Â

In a statement, the force said: 'Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision on Saturday evening, or anyone who may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision.
'Please call 101 quoting incident number 751 of 25 August 2018.'
