Detectives searching for a Sheffield woman missing from home for nearly a week have found her car in North Wales.
Michelle Webster, aged 48, was last seen leaving her place of work in Woodseats at around 2pm last Monday.
She was due home from work at 6pm but did not return.
At around 9.30pm last night, officers from North Wales Police found her silver VW Beetle in the Colwyn Bay area.
The Welsh force said it is making extensive efforts to try and find Michelle.
Detective Inspector Stephen Handley, from South Yorkshire Police, said: “We are grateful for everyone’s assistance in sharing our appeal thus far. We have now found Michelle’s car in the Colwyn Bay area but there has still been no contact or sightings of Michelle since Monday.
“We remain incredibly concerned for Michelle’s safety and wellbeing and I’d urge anyone in that area to report any possible sightings of Michelle to us immediately.”
Michelle is white, 5ft 5ins tall and of a medium build. She has short blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black dress with black tights and black shoes. She was also wearing a three quarter length grey trench coat.
Anyone who may have seen Michelle is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 1,041 of December 8.
