Police in South Yorkshire have appealed for the public's help to find a missing pensioner last seen in Sheffield.

Officers in Rotherham are trying to trace Barry Jones, aged 77, who was last seen in the Aston area of Sheffield this morning at around 10.20am.

Mr Jones is described as white, around 5ft8in, with a slim build.

He has a shaven head and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a thermal vest and a green coat with leather collar.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Barry or has any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101, quoting the incident number 628 of February 28.
