Missing offender still on the run after vanishing from hospital unit in Sheffield

An offender is still on the run after vanishing from a hospital unit in Sheffield over two weeks ago.

Ali Rajabpoor, aged 24, failed to return to the Forest Lodge hospital unit in Middlewood on Thursday, March 2 after being allowed out on day release.

He was placed at the hospital indefinitely in 2015 following his conviction at Leeds Crown Court for an offence in West Yorkshire the same year.

Member of the public are advised not to approach him, with South Yorkshire Police claiming he 'may pose some risk to the public'.

He is 5ft 10ins tall, slim, with short dark hair and a distinctive gap in his left eyebrow,

He was wearing a blue top with a red zip and a grey hooded top with white writing on it on the day he went missing.
