Missing offender found after escaping from hospital unit in Sheffield
An offender who escaped from a hospital unit in Sheffield nearly three weeks ago has been found.
Ali Rajabpoor, aged 24, went missing from the Forest Lodge hospital unit in Middlewood on Thursday, March 2 after being allowed out on day release.
He was placed at the hospital indefinitely in 2015 following his conviction at Leeds Crown Court for an offence in West Yorkshire the same year.
Members of the public were advised not to approach him while he was missing, with South Yorkshire Police warning he 'may pose some risk to the public'.
He was found 'safe and well' in Sheffield yesterday.
