People from Columbia and Indonesia are visiting Sheffield this weekend to talk about this impact coal mining has had on their communities.

They will speak to Sheffield Climate Alliance and Sheffield University People and Planet group on Sunday.

It is part of the Dirty Coal Tour, part of a campaign against mining company BHP Billiton.

People and Planet is putting pressure on The University of Sheffield to move away from fossil fuels.

The talk is free, from 4pm to 6pm at the university’s Mappin building on Sunday.
