Milo is the dog star of hit musical revival

They do say that every dog has his day'¦but not every pooch will get the sort of star treatment awaiting pampered pet Milo.

For Milo, who lives with owner Christy Gray in Sothall, has been chosen to join the stars of STOS Theatre Company's revival of hit musical Gypsy when the show comes to Sheffield's Lyceum this autumn!

Gypsy is the classic backstage story of the young girl who, thanks to the determination of tireless and ambitious stage mother Mama Rose went from 1930s obscurity to international stardom as Gypsy Rose Lee, the Queen of Striptease.

Milo is taking on the small but vital role of Chowsy, Mama Rose's pet dog and travelling companion.

And with the opening night coming in November, it's time for Milo to get acquainted with his human co-star, Keeley Kilby, who heads the cast as outrageous Mama Rose. Both are pictured here.

STOS Theatre Company present legendary Broadway hit Gypsy - the story of burlesque star Gypsy Rose Lee - at Sheffield's Lyceum from November 13 to 17. For tickets, visit the Sheffield Theatres box office, call 0114 249 6000 or go to sheffieldtheatres.co.uk
