Community volunteers from Sheffield Hallam University are talking a Midnight Walk on December 4 to raise money for their various projects.
Each team must choose a fancy dress theme based on their project’s name and collect sponsors in order to raise money.
The walk, which will include a range of fun activities for the participants, will take the volunteers past local attractions in Sheffield, eventually bringing them back to the students’ union at midnight.
Projects set to benefit include monthly social clubs for children, young people and adults with autism and delivering healthy eating workshops in local primary schools.
Organiser Holly Shreeves said: “I hope the night will be fun as well as successful. We also hope it won’t be raining or snowing!”
