Men charged over violent clash between Sheffield United and Grimsby fans
Police have charged 29 men with violent disorder after violent clash between Sheffield United and Grimsby fans.

They have all been charged with violent disorder following clashes between Grimsby Town and Sheffield United in July.
Of those charged, 12 are from Sheffield and 17 are from Grimsby.
Humberside Police said it is also seeking football banning orders.
Police chiefs are also warning fans against a repeat of the violence when both teams meet tonight in a Checkatrade Trophy fixture.

Superintendent Dave Hall said: “We are taking a zero tolerance approach to those seeking to cause trouble.
“We have a strong policing operation in place and will be taking positive action to ensure that it’s a safe and enjoyable family event, for true fans to come along and cheer on their team.
“Today we are warning those planning to come along to get involved in violence and disorder that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and we will take the strongest possible action against anyone found to be involved.
“It is worth noting that the vast majority of those attending sporting events are genuine fans, who join us in condemning those responsible for disorder.
“There is no place for this kind of violence and disorder around what should be an enjoyable, family friendly activity, supporting your local team."
