Big hearted Mikey is a brindle and white beauty who is hoping you can give him the love he needs to make him a true champion Boxer cross.
He’s currently being cared for the RSPCA Sheffield Branch in Stadium Way Attercliffe where Animal Care Manager Tony Benham says:
“Mikey came to us through no fault of his own in June which was a sad way for him to start the summer. We believe Mikey is about five years old. He is comical, packed full of personality and interacts very well with people.
“He has no known health issues, although we think that he might possibly have a bit of an allergy to pollen so summer won’t be his favourite time of year. His past history with other animals is unknown but at our centre he gets on fine with other dogs, though we have noticed that he seems to prefer male dogs in general. This lovable fellow will need a minimum of two lots of thirty minute walks per day but his owners will need to be mindful that when it is very hot, that more flat-faced dogs can find it harder to walk in such weather.” The centre is open 12.30pm until 3.30pm except Wednesday when it opens 5pm until 7pm.
