WITH their debut album out this month female foursome McQueen flee inland to prove they can give male metallers a run for their boots.
Leah Duors, Hayley Cramer, Cat de Casanove and Kat recorded Break The Silence on Newcastle's Demolition Records (care home of Hanoi Rocks and Twisted Sister) in between a touring schedule that's spanned two and a half years with tracks being sent to US-based Evil Joe Barresi, producer of Queens Of The Stone Age and Tool, to mix.
Since forming in Brighton four years ago McQueen have played alongside Juliette & the Licks, Foo Fighters, Towers Of London and Kaiser Chiefs.
