That was the story of this entertaining and entertaining clash at The Den as Sheffield United took all three points from a trip to Millwall for the first time since Chris Wilder took charge at Bramall Lane.

Blades boss Wilder may ask questions of his side, and how they managed to let a 1-0 half-time lead slip to a 2-1 reverse within five minutes of the restart.

But he can have no complaints over his side's character as they, to use one of his sayings, dragged themselves off the canvas to claim three points thanks to David McGoldrick's brace.

The first came from the penalty spot, the second opportunity presented to them from 12 yards, by a combination of Millwall's defending and referee Andy Davies' whistle. The first, for handball against Shaun Williams, saw Billy Sharp step up but his effort was kept out by a combination of home goalkeeper Ben Amos and the crossbar.

Sharp made amends by heading United in front soon after, from Mark Duffy's cross, and United were cruising. Until, that is, a crazy five minutes at the start of the second half when Jake Cooper and Blades fan Lee Gregory, who was with United as a youngster, turned the game on its head.

But United were given a lifeline when Davies pointed to the spot after adjudging that Williams had fouled Duffy, and McGoldrick made no mistake.

The pair then combined for the winner as Duffy's sublime cross gave McGoldrick the simple task of tapping home, and sending the Blades fans behind that goal delerious.
