Hillsborough Park will play host to a special mass participation bootcamp tomorrow, to celebrate the most active day of the year.

The free event, which kicks off at 6.30pm, has been organised by Sheffield City Trust and UK Outdoor Fitness, to mark National Fitness Day.

Paul Smith, owner of UK Outdoor Fitness, said: “We’re excited to be hosting a mass participation bootcamp to mark the most active day of the year.

“The bootcamp will see activities such as a tug-of-war, boxing, circuits and mini obstacle training, so it promises to be a lot of fun. All people need to bring to take part is some water and a towel!”

The session will run for one hour and anyone aged 16 or over can take part in the session, run by fully qualified trainers.
