Two masked men armed with a knife escaped with cash after holding up a garage in Sheffield.

The men, who were wearing grey balaclavas, struck at the Jet petrol station in Owler Lane, Grimesthorpe.

One of the men, who is believed to have been carrying a knife, threatened a member of staff and demanded cash from the till.

Detective Constable Lindsey Fishwick, said: “Both men are described as white, of medium build and between 16-20-years-old.

“One was wearing light coloured jeans and a dark hooded top while the other was wearing a blue jacket.

“Following initial inquiries, including CCTV analysis, I’d like to ask members of the public if they have any information about what happened.

“Do you know who is responsible? If you were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious please get in touch."
