Two men armed with blades robbed a convenience store in Sheffield and threatened staff before making off with a quantity of cash.
At around 8.15pm on Sunday, February 18 two men armed with a knife and blade had entered the store Co-op on Bevan Way in Chapeltown.
The men, who had balaclavas covering their faces, made threats towards members of staff and forced them to open the store safe. A quantity of cash was stolen in the incident.
An investigation is currently ongoing and officers have been working to review CCTV, identify possible forensic evidence and make enquiries in the area.
Now, detectives investigating the incident are appealing to witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of incident to contact them with information.
Officers say any piece of information - even if it may seem irrelevant - could be useful in the investigation.
