The aim is to create a building that looks like it has been there for a long time.

The application says it will take the form of ‘a series of single buildings and extensions which have become interconnected over time as surrounding communities have grown and the need for additional social amenities has increased’.

Vehicle access will be from Chaucer Road.

The site is bordered by housing, a football pitch and a playing field.
