A VET will put down his stethoscope and pull on his trainers to run the London Marathon.
Rob Haselgrove, who works for the PDSA Petaid Hospital in Sheffield, will take on the 26.2 mile mission for the first time.
The 33-year-old animal lover, of Bents Green, who took up long-distance running a year ago, hopes to raise as much as possible for the charity.
Rob, whose Labrador named Puddle has been his training companion, said: “I try to run five times a week. Usually I will do short seven-mile runs after work, with Puddle for company.”
