POWERLEAGUE Sheffield is to stage a 24-hour football fundraising event to raise cash for cystic fibrosis charities.

The event is due to take place at Stadium Way, Attercliffe, from 10am on Saturday, until 10am the following day.

The event is due to include a one-day-long football game, a raffle with prizes including an autographed football from Premier League referee Howard Webb and Sheffield Wednesday tickets, a disco and quiz during the evening.
