Manor Oaks Open Day
As part of Sheffield's annual Open Up event, the artists at Manor Oaks Studios will open their doors to Sheffield families this weekend, to give them the inside story of their art.
Meet ceramicist Anna-Mercedes Wear, jeweller Annette Petch and wood workers Finbarr Lucas and Becca Hopkinson, and find out about the techniques and tools of traditional hand processes with demonstrations and thorough conversation with the artists. See pieces being made, and maybe even buy something beautiful, unique and hand-crafted. From 11am to 5pm this Saturday and Sunday.
