SHE is sweet, loving and looking to bring a bit of spice to your life.

That is Mango, who is currently being cared for at the RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre in Attercliffe until he finds himself a new loving home.

Tony Benham, RSPCA Sheffield branch animal care manager, said: “Mango couldn’t be more aptly-named with her cute head, button-nose and sweet nature.

“This gorgeous cross-breed mastiff has been with us nearly a year now through no fault of her own, after bring brought to us by her previous owner due to difficulties in their personal circumstances.”

Aged two years and nine months, with a brindle and white coat, she has no known health problems and is described as ‘sweet like the fruit she is named after’.

Tony said what loving, active and clever Mango needs is a home with a steady routine.

He said: “We’d prefer to find her an adult-only home and one where can be the only pet until she has increased her manners with other animals.”

Mango loves to play with her toys and likes to take long walks, although about two lots of 30-inute walks a day would be fine to keep her brain active.

Tony said, although Mango is an unfussy eater, she should not be left on her own for too long though – certainly no longer than five hours at the most – as she requires the stimulation of human company.

On occasion, she can be a shy of strangers and her new owners will need to offer her reassurance and patience, while she grows in confidence in this particular area.

However, Tony said once she knows you, she is full of love, devotion and friendship.

RSPCA Sheffield Branch is open every day, except Wednesday, from 12.30pm until 3.30pm.
